I submitted my application on August 26th, and it's already September 18th. It's been stuck on "Awaiting Admin Processing" the whole time, it's killing me!

After being rejected multiple times by journals such as Nature and Science, I was advised by a friend to submit to NSR (a journal I was not familiar with and was not invited to submit to). It is said that the journal has very strict academic standards and a low acceptance rate (the journal is highly positioned and has stringent academic standards - it is said that even some national talents who are acquainted with the journal's editors/deputy editors and are familiar with them on a regular basis have had their submissions rejected without being reviewed, even after several submissions). After submission, there were also many rejections (it is said that some submissions were rejected after review by three reviewers: two with positive comments and one with negative comments).
The first round of review took approximately 2-3 months, and the questions and suggestions from the three reviewers were all very detailed, professional, and challenging. During the major revision, a significant amount of additional experiments and experimental evidence were conducted in response to the reviewers' doubts and questions, resulting in a response of nearly 50 pages and some experimental demonstration videos.
After acceptance, the journal requested revisions to the figures four times (vector graphics, with modifications to size, format, font, font size, style, layout, etc.), with strict requirements. It is said that during the publication process, the publishing editor will review the manuscript three times, ensuring rigorous quality control.
In terms of academic standards, the journal seems to be quite rigorous and fair.

Is there any difference in the positioning and article orientation between National Science Review and Science Bulletin? Which one is better now?

Are foreign journals devoid of human sentiments? Don't criticize blindly; the articles are actually quite good. Give national journals some time

Researchers should have a sense of awe, submitting to Nature is great, no need to insist on NSR [dog head

I submitted my paper to Nature for review first and was about to receive it for minor revisions. Suddenly, I thought that in order to support the development of domestic journals, especially with the support of my fellow countrymen, NSR will definitely surpass Nature and beat Science in the future. Therefore, I immediately rejected Nature's request for publication of my article and switched to submitting to NSR

If your manuscript is rejected after being submitted to a legitimate journal, and you decide to submit it directly to this NSR, you are just a joke, haha
